Clothes

With the pandemic induced lockdown rocking our world, it was inevitable that we will be forced to make informed lifestyle choices. Clothes being an intrinsic factor of our lives, the maintenance and upkeep of what we are wearing have got paramount importance in these times. Off late, the clothes that are making a style statement include sweatshirts, faded T-shirts, track pants and Bermuda shorts. Clothes that are comfortable and easy to upkeep daily have become popular for obvious reasons. With everything switched on the ‘self-service mode’, it is both practical and prudent to choose those outfits that one can wash and maintain with the least possible hassle.

Colours

Brown has always been a great favourite among men. This year too has not been different in that regard. Several designers including Louis Vuitton and Oliver Spencer have used browns extensively along with burnt oranges and khaki shades in their latest fall/winter collection. Interestingly, pastel pink and bright blue hues are increasingly finding new takers.

Hair and now!

The availability of electric trimmers and other user-friendly appliances have emboldened men to take charge of their hair grooming schedule. Hair and beard trimmed to a neat and no-hassle look are what is going around these days. Those who are averse to the idea of chopping their locks of hair are rocking their look by smartly restraining their curls behind smart scarves/bandana/hairband. Scarves in check-print, bandanas in broad print, multi-coloured hue are very much the ‘in thing’ these days.

Footwear

With the formal shoes and boots resting in the corner, sandals, trainers and sneakers are having a field day! (literally!)Fashion pundits are foreseeing a shift back towards wearing proper socks with your footwear. So, if you are looking forward to making some adjustments in your wardrobe, you may want to invest in some good quality tube socks.
